Daily expenses in Nice of France?

What is the daily expenses, suggestions of meals and others in Nice?
i have to go to Nice for 2 weeks in January
i want to have an estimate of how much i would need to spend daily.
(1) in Macdonald, how much is a hamburger, soft drink, set meal..?
(2) prices in fast food shop?
(3) food eg: water, sandwich, instant noodles, cup noodles, cup soup, chocolate bars.....in supermarket, grocery store,....?
(4) i will live in a hotel but no meals provided, but can cook in the kitchen, i am in a budget, so any suggestions of what i should buy (the cheapest way) to eat, i can use microwave and i am not sure if there is any stove for cooking.
(5) suggestions of my breakfast, lunch and dinner (cheapest)?
(6) prices of daily stuff: shampoo, cleansing liquid, tissue paper, .....................
(7) fares of train, tram, subway, bus, taxi?
(8) easy to catch a taxi?
(9) easy to find policeman in the street, speak in English?
(8) others that i could not think of in this list

Public transport is cheap around Nice - one euro buys you 59 minutes of it. All taxis in France are expensive. English is not widely spoken. Fresh food is cheap in the markets and small supermarkets - Intermarch茅 probably best. If all you have to buy is food and daily stuff, and you cook for yourself, then you'll get by on ten euros a day.

Check for a Youth Hostel. Take minimal personal gear.
Have fun! Be flexible. Cheapest eats are find where locals buy and eat in room. Wear a good pair of comfortable walking shoes.
