Beaches in Provence? |
I want to find a beach in Provence or Languedoc that is really nice and will not be too busy in the first 2 weeks of July. As a resident nature-lover, some of my favorite beaches in the Var region are on the island of Porquerolles, in front of Hy猫res. why don;t you get the best answer from people for travel? Plage Tahiti a couple of miles from St Tropez. Wide open. No film-stars. Miles of golden sand. Bonjour from France ! in fact, the real holidays in France don't really start before mid-july - if you are coming the first 2 weeks, the beaches won't be that busy yet and I can recommend the Lavandou where I spent a lovely time. I am from this area too. What inconnaissable told you is correct. Between Saint-Raphael and Hyeres, there are so many great beaches. My favourites is Canadel (between Le Lavandou and Cavalaire). It is not easy to access if you have no car. La Capte in Hyeres is great as well. Saint-Aygulf is easy to access, very popular and a bit crowded but it is worth trying. You are full of illusions!! |
