Nice affordable hotels in Avignon?

Any suggestions for hotels in Avignon? Among the ones I have researched are Hotel de I'Horloge and Bristol Hotel. Are those OK? Any other suggestions? I would prefer to stay around 90USD per night. I am going to be there March 20 - 22. Also, any good, non-touristy restaurants to suggest?

Firstly, as you no doubt know, hotels are graded into stars, then the comparisons become subjective according to what you are looking for.

Assuming that the maximum stars will give you the best hotels [ maybe ] there are some 4 star hotels a little above your budget in Villeneuve-les-Avignon. If you drop to a 3 star hotel then there will be plenty within your budget range.

Another tip is to find the best prices on a site like cheaperthanhotels, identify the hotel, then go to the actual hotel's website and compare prices. If the prices are discounted it gives you the opportunity to trade up to better places.
