Hyeres Airport to Sainte Maxime?

I am arriving at Hyeres Airport on Wed 4th Oct. Need cheap and fast transport to Sainte Maxime. Can you please help?

The easiest way is to contact the Tourist Office in Ste Maxime and ask them:

but I would not hold my breath...

Initially I thought that taking a train was not a good idea, because there is no train station in Sainte Maxime itself - you have to go to Saint Raphael train station first and then take a bus from there, which is another 45 minutes (http://www.beyond.fr/travel/bus16.html)

However, in October train might be your best option. During the season there is a shuttle service (navette) from the Hyeres airport to Sainte Maxime, but it says that there is no service in October (phone: +33 4 94 12 55 12, web: http://www.beyond.fr/travel/bus07.html )

Also consider taking a taxi or renting a car (sometimes in France a one-way rental is not as expensive as in the U.S.).
