Where are wedding spots in portland oregon or nearby cities?

a place to get married outdoor(garden like) have a the reception indoor like a ballroom

I don't know of a place like you're asking about but I did a lot of research for my own wedding by using these web sites. I wanted an outdoor wedding with an indoor place to eat but outside grounds to walk around and enjoy. I got married at Wine Country Farm in Dundee Oregon. We were looking for more of the winery feel and this place was perfect. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. Good luck!

There are quite a few places up the Columbia river gorge as well as along the coast. Plus there are a lot of places in the city itself. Depends on your tastes and what you like.
Good Luck.

My brother had his wedding at a place called The Aerie at Eagle Landing. It's a very nice golf club, thery had an outdoor wedding with an indoor/outdoor reception.

My wife and I got married at the Eugene Country Inn. It's absolutely gorgeous! It has a lovely grounds with trees, gardens, gazebos, real swans swimming in a pond. It's been rated one of the best places to have a wedding in Oregon. We loved it and our pictures were fantastic!

The best thing is we had plenty of room for everyone and so many places to take pictures. We were married in late July and it couldn't have been better.

The onsite catering is fantastic and there are two indoor wedding halls you can use (we had our reception on the Eden Hall side). Couples will usually get married outside and then move inside for the reception.

Two other great places are King Estate Winery and Iris Hill Winery. Both are near Eugene and offer great vistas.
