What is the cheapest way to get to Corvallis from the Portland Airport? |
What is the cheapest way to get to Corvallis, OR or Albany, Or from the Portland Airport. I had reservations on the Amtrak train, but due to a mudslide they have been canceled. Just take a Tri Met MAX light rail train from the airport to downtown Portland where you can then take a Valley Retriver bus to Corvallis twice a day which loads at either Greyhound or Union station. The trip can also be done by using other small transit systems but would require more transfers. Good Luck! Call Grey hound... a cab would be astronomical and I dont know of any city buses that would go that far, they're not clean anyway......give GH or like bus lines a try.... You can take Greyhound or rent a car and drive it yourself. It's an easy drive just straight down Interstate 5. Doublecheck with Amtrak. If you are talking about the slide on the Coast Starlight route that happened on the 20th near Klamath Falls, they have been busing people around it and putting them back on the train. |
