Do You know any good night clubs in Portland, OR? |
im just asking because im going to there for two weeks, and i dont want to get bored:) Betty Ford I'm from Portland, but I've been overseas for the last two years. "Copper Penny" was popular; it's on 82nd (eastside). I went to clubs more often on the westside of Portland. My favorite one was "Lotus", I think it's on SW 4th right downtown. You won't be bored! Depends on what part of town you are staying in. Check out a local paper for the entertainment section. Also check out one of the many places owned by McMenamins (they have a website) in the area. They usually have a lot of different events going on at their places. or check out http://portland.citysearch.com/ You will definitely not be bored. I agree with the other answers pick up a Mercury or Willamette week. There is always numerous things to do on any given night. Portland has the most vibrant music scene in the nation. You will have better luck catching a live show than finding a LA type dance club. The crystal ballroom does have a cool dance floor that floats and is always a good time. There are also art openings, plays and some of the best restaurants in the nation. Have fun! good luck girl friend, I been there a few times my self. It's a beautiful city though. |
