Any major companies near Roseburg, OR? |
I have a friend who is moving to Roseburg, OR (about 1 hour south of Eugene). She works for a major health insurance company now, and is acclimated to office-like positions....are there any major companies near Roseburg she could consider looking into? Thanks. Dell computers has a large office there. I lived in Roseburg back in the early 90's and other than Fed Gov't, I don't know of any large companies there. Weyerhaeuser used to be there, but it's pretty much gone if not completely now because of all the timber issues. The town is only about 20K people, but the summers are warm/hot and the winters can be cold with snow. It's right off of I-5 though, so very easy to get to Medford (south) or Eugene (north). |
