I know of Portland, Oregon and Portland, Main, but are there any others? 1. Portland, Oregon i'll bet there a few. and, i'll bet half the states have a mt. vernon. there's also a Portland, Texas and a Portland, Tennessee. Lots actually. |

Hey There, I live in Eugene, OR and have now for nearly six years. I love it here. I moved from a small town to Seattle and then to here and I feel like Goldylocks - Eugene is not too big, not to... If you're from LA, you'll still be frustrated by the commute. There is no freeway to Canby. You'll probably be taking 217 (2 lane freeway, speed limit 55, highly congested) to Inte... Once you get through the mountains between Oregon and California you'll be just fine. Everything else is just straight up I-5. You'll hit some traffic from Salem through to Portland and... Hillsboro, or more specifically a little area called Helvetia. But I don't know if it has a large population other than that Roloff family. ...Westmoreland is nice. Portland has so many funky, hip, neighborhoods with plenty of families in them. SE Portland or some places in NE sounds like what you would like. You should visit and check... take the Max train to the Rose Quarter transit center then take the #4 bus towards downtown. Get off at 3rd and Flanders and walk a couple block to the train ...Plan on cold and rainy, but I have had some cold, clear sky weather days in February as well on the Northern coast. Bring rain gear (no umbrellas- the wind will take them out) and layer your clothe... rain/rain/go/away ... |
