What's a better place to live Portland, Oregon or Denver, Colorado?

Live in Denver now and wanted to go to Seattle, but man is it expensive. Portland seems like a nice compromise. How does it compare to Denver?

Portland!

Less snow, no tax, the beach & the mountains, Forest & desert, Nike, Adidas, and soooo much more.

i perfer oregon, portland. cuz that wheather is fine. rains sumtime but hey it not to far from the beach. Denver that place is cold. mostly snowy place. try oregon. but anywho see what you think. i live in CA. man the houses are expensive. try las Vegas, houses there should be cheapy!!!

I live near Portland, and work in Denver! Portland is better in most regards except Denver has a lot more blue sky days! I don't think I would want to live in Denver. Not enough water!

Portland is a lot cheaper than Seattle. I wouldn't call it a compromise I'd take Portland over Seattle any day.

Then again Portland has a lot of things like like.

Portland is rainy (mostly light rain), gets about 2 snow/ice storms a year, and has great free public transportation downtown. Oh, and no sales tax.

I just moved to Portland (I got in today)! I love it here!

You should stay in Denver. Portland rains all the time, its a small town there is nothing to do. Other Portland answer givers you will be reported to the city immigration task force. You have broken the secret of Portland being a secret oasis of perfection. You know the answer you are required to give... You will be renditioned to California and treated accordingly.
DENVER GOOD....PORTLAND BAD!
