OREGON?? number 1 sucide state?!?

Is Oregon really the number one sucide state? I really want to move ther but my friends are always saying that? How could Oregon be?

Assisted suicide is legal in Oregon. Maybe that is the reason for the data.

I've always heard that the suicide rate is high during the wet weather. It's cloudy and raining more than sunny and some poeple find it hard to deal with.....I love the rain! I wonder if any of them are people who movd here from warmer states..

I wouldn't be surprised if Oregon were that high because of the dreariness of the weather, the weakness of the economy, and the liberalness of the political scene. Then again, statistics can be twisted to serve any purpose, so whatever.

No, but even if it was what does that have to do with you! It doesn't mean moving to Oregon will cause you to commit suicide.
