Locations along the Columbia River Gorge (OR,WA) that provide both the view of Mt. Hood and the River Gorge?

I would think that it would be along the WA side of the Columbia River Gorge. Any specific locations would be appreciated

If you want a great panaramic view of Mt Hood, and the
gorge, the best viewpoint, is at the Vista House, which you
reach by the old gorge highway well above the freeway. I
believe you can get to it, at Sandy, Oregon. I believe there
is another one with parking west of the Vista House, and
there are great views and easier parking there. There is a
sign indicating a 'viewpoint' along the old two laned road.
And you can see the Vista House ahead, if I'm not mistaken.
It's been awhile since we drove the old highway. Make sure
you take a camera, you'll want to take some shots for sure.
You can see Mt Hood close up, if you drive up into Hood
River, Oregon. Once we did on a clear day and were just
below the base. And it was awesome, with the sun bearing
down on the snow capped peak.

in the area near the city of White Salmon you can look across the river and see Mt Hood. In almost all places in the western gorge where the gorge is the deepest and most scenic [in my opinion] you can not see Mt hood, as it is hidden be the tall mountains that are directly south of the river.
