Oregon Drivers License ????

I work at a bar here in NEVADA. This girl comes in with what looks like a OREGON drivers license but it has a Henderson Nevada adress . She says she is going to UNLV and they put her nevada address on the OREGON license. Then she pulls out a Nevada Drivers Licenes with a completley different Nevada address. WHAT JIVES ...I know when you get a Nevada Drivers Licenes that you have to relinquish your other states license ... Does anyone know ???

There are a lot of misconceptions here. You can have an out of state address on your driver license if you are in the military, or if you are a college student attending school out of state. Oregon verifies residency, but will allow out of state residents to use the address where they reside even if it is out of state.

It is correct that she should not have two licenses. She probably lost her Oregon one and got a Nevada license and then either found the Oregon license, or had it replaced when she was in state without surrendering the NV license. It is more likely to be a situation similar to the example I gave than it is for her to have a fake Oregon license.

When you look at Oregon licenses there should be holograms that say "Oregon". That is a security feature. If it has that then it's probably fine.

If you want you can suggest to her that she turn in the one from NV. If law enforcement catches her with two they will take one away and probably issue her a citation.

The oregon liscense is fake probably left over from before she was 21.....you can't have another states address on your id (except in some places that totally don't apply here) .....you can get around the relinquishing....you just say you lost the old one...

I've seen a Texas driver licence with and Oregon adress and I had NO idea of how that can be allowed. I suggest you contact oregon DMV....

The Oregon one is definately fake. When I went to school (Out of State), the Oregon DMV told me to keep my parents' or permanent address on my DL or to get a new one in Pennsylvania (where I went to school). And you can have more than one liscense. I really LOVED my picture from my OR liscense but eventually I did permanently move to PA, so I had to get a new liscense, so I just told the PA DMV that I lost my old one.

It's against federal law to have more than one state driver's license like that. You should have arrested her.
