How do you pronounce 'Krakow'? |
Is it Kra-Kow or Krak-ov or Krak-off, thanks. If you're pronouncing it in English it is generally accepted to say "Kra-Kow" geeeeeeeez ""贸" which gives it a "u" sound" ITS NOT TRUE! n yeah u can argue w/ a native if a native doesnt give u a good answer cos has no clue bout phonetics, there shud b sb who checks if answers are correct as for such things really cos u chose sth that isnt gd n u think it is so u shudnt b able to judge it Report It im a native Pole who studied phonetics but i wont answer to alike qs no more cos its a waste of time i wont even correct if i see ppl writtin wrong things, not my problem =) Report It Krak-ov Krak-off I would say "Crack-Cow" :o) its pronounced just like its spelled crack - off Can't really argue with a native polish speaker can you?! See above - but I would have said Krakov. Kra - koov/koof Krak- OV Krak-OV its pronounced like its spelled but in other words its pronounced crack-oov I am an American and I was taught to say Krak-oofv. In Polish the proper pronunciation is Krakuv Crack (as in butt crack) - Cow (as in moo) Kra-Kow ( cra-cow ) Krak`ow Ethan Hunt |
