I love this type of question as well, because it shows the shortcomings of the American education system in not knowing anywhere else except for outside its borders.

Where is Poland? Poland is in the centre of Europe.
For Americans Europe is a continent not a country and we do not all speak French.
I have a friend who is Canadian and works in immigration on the American Canadian border and one day in summer some Americans arrived in a car with skis on the roof rack, and were asked where they were going and they replied skiing.
They explained that they thought if they crossed the border they would be able to go skiing as Canada is a colder country. :O) lol
