How comfortably can I live in Poland?

How comfortably can you live in Poland with approximately 23,000Poland Zlotych?

Can you describe me the type of house and how comfortably I can live over there. My parents are trying to decide whether to move to Germany or Poland and they heard that Poland is a lot cheaper to live in.

Detailed description and a couple links to a Polish realestate website will be greatly appreciated.

My parents have already found a job and my dad would be managing a metal engineering company and he is expected to be paid 23000-28000 Poland Zlotychs per month. So my question is just the living expenses over there with 23000 zlotchs per month.

honestly on that kind of salary per month you can live like royalty here. average salary in poland is around 1600-2000 zlotys (however many people get by with less).

or just google polish realestate for more. however, most sites in english have raised prices as they are geared towards foreigners. some price examples in poland: top of the line laptop 4,500 zlotys, pc 3,500zlotys, 40" full hd tv 4,500 zlotys, food and meals in restaurants are pretty cheap, a new apartment (2 bedrooms, kitchen, bath = depends on the area but around 250,000 zl or more if its in the city) its actually cheaper to build a house!

The English pound has a great exchange rate in Poland and therefore one can buy/afford a lot more than in western countries. Can you speak/understand polish yet? -This will significantly help your situation, hope these sites help!

um, depends on how comfortably you want to live over there...you could use rocks as furniture, have a one-room house, and keep the temperature below freezing, or you could, i dunno, use normal furniture and live the same way you do now, only in a different country....just a thought

and if your parents are making the money: why are you worried about living expenses? ....im sure they can deal with it fine.

I used to live in Poland and you can buy a small appartment or cottage in the suberbs of a city. Most Items there are cheap but not cars. I would recomend buss. 2 zloty for on ticket. Soon POland is Changing into Euro so hurry. It is not very hard to find a jobs so you can earn mony.
