Getting a job in Poland.....................?

I dont speak Polish though? any suggestions, I'm moving out there in 1 month to sosnowiec. need a job, anyone help?

I have been teaching in Poland for seven years now and you will be coming at the wrong time of year, as most, if not all of the schools will have their teachers already employed.
But you could try some private schools, but the competition will be very stiff as there is little work in the summer.

You will not be able to teach in a state school as you will need a University degree to work there, although I have heard on the very rare occasion you will be able to find work as a conversational teacher, but you need to know people to get this position.

One option that maybe available to you is to work in one of the summer camps that offer English lessons as well to children and young adults, but you will have to prove that you have a good knowledge of English, with some academic background, as again the competition is very stiff.

You can also do private conversation lessons and heres a tip! most teachers charge 50zl up per hour, I only charge 40zl for 60 mins and I many students, teachers I know who charge 50-60zl per hour don't have the same amount of students because they are too greedy.

Another tip is to make the lesson interesting, talk about current affairs and don't be boring, here is a good site that I get a lot of my material from, and it's free and I usually edit it before I use it, tailoring it to the students ability and needs

If you want me to help you anymore then send me a email through my profile and I will see what I can do.
You could also visit www.polishforums.com and ask there :O)

It'll be rather difficult for you to find a job in Poland if you don't speak Polish. I think you should get in contact with companies which need english-speaking people. I think it wouldn't be difficult, because many international companies are also set in Poland. But if you don't speak Polish, I think you will not find a job easily.

What's your mother tongue? Maybe you can find a job as native speaker?

...or maybe would you like bake waffles like me? It's very nice,sweet job and you don't need to talk with waffles! ;)

the easist place to find a job would be as a english teacher, many foreigners are accepted even without a teachers degree to teach courses as native speakers.

well it will be hard to find a job without knowing any polish

but i guess that u will find a job as english teacher

private english lessons
you would make a lot of money
people charge 20 zloty per hour or more
