Polish Names...?

In poland, how do students adress their teachers? Also what are some Polish last names?

depends where, in high school: Pani Profesor / Panie Profesorze, in university according to the title: Pani Magster, Panie Magistrze, or Pani Doktor/Panie Doktorze, or Pani Profesor/Panie Profesorze
in primary school: Pani/Panie, but it'smore like:Prosz臋Pani/Prosz臋 Pana (like excuse me Sir)

most popular names in Poland;
Kowalski (kovalsky)
Nowak(novak)
Wi艣niewski (wisniewsky)
etc.

anything ending in "ski"

In Poland you can not call teachers by names... you have to always say.. "Mr" "Dr" etc...

'Pan' ... when you talk to the male

'Pani' .... when you talk to the female

any other questions let me know ...

students adress their teachers formaly... you have to use Mr (Pan), Mrs (Pani). and in some cases (college, university) you have to use their scholar title such as Dr, etc, although in most cases Mr and Mrs are ok.
as for Polish last names = Wojciechowski, Spychalski, Grodzicki... and they change when adressing women..for example a woman with the last name Wojciechowski would have it written Wojciechowska. as you can see "ski" is very common as the ending. some that dont end in "ski" = Krupnik, Pachel...

Pan-Mr.
Pani-Ms.

and there are lot of different polish surnames

Nowak .. KAZIMIERZ
Kowalski .. Robert
Szaniawska .. Anna
Szymaniak ..Joanna
Pawelska .. Malgorzata
doroszynska .. Jadwiga

Students in Poland address their teachers by using:
Pan profesor (to a man) [Mr Professor]
Pani profesor (to ta woman) [Mrs Professor]

My Polish friends last name is Murdzia.

yeah...they've told you all you need to know: PAN & PANI
for instance: PANIE Kowalski (male) or PANI Kowalska (female)...no first name basis with strangers here...even people on the street or in a shop will adress you as "pani" as long as you're not a kid....it's quite annoying actually..
