WIll 2008 be the biggest holy pilgrimage to see Our Lady of Czestochowa?

Now that the schengen visa is open to Eastern Europe, there will be many pilgrims to Jasna Gora. Who will go? Any host family willing to accomodate a pilgrim? When is the actual feastday, August 15 , the Assumption, or on August 26, of the Black Madonna?

don't know about the dates but you should have no problem finding a place to stay. the pilgrims usually stay in churches or local schools or in homes of families along the way. and yeah, i guess becaouse of schengen it will be easier for for people to go but i dont know if that will actually increase the number of pilgrims.

there is always a lot of pilgrims in jasna gora everyyear
so not that poland is in schengen i think that there will be even more

I personally if God permits me to make a pilgrimage to our blessed lady's grotto in Portugal , Our Holy Father the Pope will grant a plenary indulgence to who ever visits the grotto , and i would assume that includes Our LADY of Czestochowa
