In Napoleons time what was poland surrounded by?????

In Napoleon Bonaparte's time Poland was nonexistant for the better part of this period. There was the Duchy of Warsaw (French: Duch茅 de Varsovie) from 1807 to 1815, ruled by the King of Sachsen (Saxony) (a part of the Germany), and in fact being under French domination. However, Polish history handbooks put a lot of stress on this period, and most of them consider the Ducy to be Poland (although not as independent as Poles would like it to).

It was bordering Prussia, Austria and Russia.

Before (and after) this period, Polish territories were fully partitioned between Prussia, Russia and Austria / Austro-Hungary. This started in 1795 with the 3rd Partition of Poland, and ended in 1918 after WW I.
In the meantime, after the Duchy of Warsaw was cancelled by the Vienna Congress (1815), the territories taken by Russia were called "The Kingdom of Poland", and Tzar of Russia bore the title of a King of Poland (a personal union, accepted by Polish Parliment - most likely onedr the pressure of Russian army). Polish history manuals, however, do not consider this "Kigdom of Poland" to be Poland - in fact, it was soon fully incorporated into Russian Empire, with the same law, administration, and most bureaucracy being man by Russians. Same with the armed forces.
