Has anybody had any success in re-selling/ selling back their timeshare to Sunset Fishermen's Resorts...?

... in Playa Del Carmen, MEXICO (as they promised they would do in the sales presentation)?
I have done some research on the internet and I've noticed there are a few people who are trying to sell their timeshare through varios websites. This leads me to believe that Sunset Resorts did not live up to their obligation. I have tried to contact these sellers personally, but have not gotten any info. about their re-sale/ sell-back experience with Sunset Resorts. I just purchased a timeshare with this company (Sunset Resorts) just 3 weeks ago, based on the promise that after a year I could sell it back to them if I choose to get out of it. That is why getting an answer to this question is vital in my dealings with this company because as it would seem, something seems "fishy" here.

Good luck with that one! My friend got mixed up in that deal. They had fees to pay, parking lots to share expence in as well as putting a roof on the thing. They have tried for 4 years to unload it and have even tried just to find someone to trade with. No luck. You might find something about them here;

Not sure but it is a place to start.

If you are not tied down with this R U N!!!

I would make my research carefully before buying any timeshare. Recently visited http://www.dreamholidays.com and the idea of having a registered travel agency handle the promotion offer is really great. At least you are sure with who you are dealing and even local authorities can assist you in case there are problems.
