stayed at the iberostar tucan, want to stay close by at one of the riu hotels, what does anyone recommend. want the clear water at the beaches. Take a look at the following resorts: |

We didn't stay there, but had great experience at both Barcelo and Iberostar resorts. We hope to go back to Barcelo in 2008. ...By car, about 20 minutes from Playa del Carmen, about 2 minutes from Puerto Aventuras. By bike, I highly do not recomend it, since it is a freeway and bicycles are not allowed. But it is a privat... For the most part, it is as safe as your average American middle-sized city. Of course, you'll be harassed to spend your money in the shops as you walk the downtown area, however the vendors ... I would stay away from the senior frogs down by the ferry dock. It's way over priced. Along fifth ave. there's lots of good choices. I don't remember the names of most of the restaur... Diesel is available in almost every gas station in Mexico. I drive to Cancun every year in a Dodge ram diesel. Never had a problem finding fuel. The longest stretch of road with out seeing a gas st... I have never stayed there, but I have seen it. It's OK. My favorite place to stay in Playa is Xaman-Ha condos. You can check them out on xhcondos.com. It is in the best location in Playa, 3 mi... Chichen-Itza is almost in the middle of the peninsula and there are not that many roads that go to it. The main one is the Interstate road that runs from Cancun to Merida. Chichen Itza is almost ... hello, unfortunately the number of non-all inclusive beachfront hotels goes down every day.the very few there are just "tolerate" kids and are not family orientated what so ever.however ... |
