Moving from the US to Playa del Carmen. Is diesel auto fuel readily available?

I own a diesel auto and wondering how hard it will be to get fuel for it vs. a gasoline powered auto. Will be living in Playa del Carmen, but driving throughout the Mayan Rivera.

Diesel is available in almost every gas station in Mexico. I drive to Cancun every year in a Dodge ram diesel. Never had a problem finding fuel. The longest stretch of road with out seeing a gas station is 50 miles.

In most roads, and highways gas stations have been carrying diesel for decades. So you won't have any problem.

What ado says is true, most gas stations have Diesel, if they don麓t they will point you to one that has. Maybe 1 in 3 carries diesel.
You will have no trouble.
