Hotel, good for kids, NOT ALL INCLUSIVE?

I hate all inclusives, but do want a beach and a pool and to be near restaurants... any suggestions? Children ages 11 and 13.

unfortunately the number of non-all inclusive beachfront hotels goes down every day.the very few there are just "tolerate" kids and are not family orientated what so ever.however there is a hotel in "old" playa-style which is nice for the entire family."shangri-la caribe".the location is nice....it is beachfront and restaurants are within walking distance.just check the link:

Hi! i can recommend Hotel Cielo, its a small hotel, only 18 rooms just 1 block from the beach, and just next door its Carboncitos Restaurant its the best place to eat tacos! check the web site and let me know if you need more information cause i work here! www.hotelcielo.com
