Dining in Playa Del Carmen? |
What's the best? I always enjoyed Mil Y Alux, it's below the surface of Playa Del Carmen, people refer it as Alux, to find it drive inland on Ave Juarez, and cross highway 307, it's located on the south side of the street, about 3 blocks from the highway, Look for a gate with the name "Alux" written in a string of lights, behind it you'll see a glow from the stairway leading down to the cave!! We always went for apps! I had the chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese, chaya, mango sauce and ginger ( 140 pesos ), salads are 50 -70 pesos shrimp and beer are not that expensive depending on what you like........Beach area restaurants are good too, they have the Blue Parrot, Le Bistrot, La Tarraya beach club!! There are sooo many places to eat in and around 5th Ave you'll run out of Pesos....... Shanghi Restaurant is a 'must visit' dining experience. |

Well depends if you use taxi's or Colectivo Vans or the bus, if you heading to Cancun the vans run every 10 - 15 minutes, if you use a taxi always negotiate a price before getting in, if your ... They have Alamo, Budget, Eros, Happy, Holiday, Thrifty......Hertz.....call your TA for a price comparison =) If driving around remember Felipe Carrillo Puerto is the only place to buy gas bet... Cancun has a bullring, Plaza de Toros, near the nothern town end of Paseo Kukulkan ( downtown) right across the Restaurant Los Almendros. Bullfights are every Wednesday at 330pm during the tourist... Well it's worth the trip, from Playa you can take an Air Taxi with Aerosaab...Located to the northwest of Cancun, Mexico, Holbox Island is just 26 miles / 42 km long. Holbox is separated from ... Many places have excellent food, in Playa Del Carmen I would suggest Yaxche, beautiful atmosphere with tables along the street or in the garden, their Kinich chicken is YUMMY, it's a grilled b... Well in Cancun The Taco Factory is awesome for lunch / snacks , The Argentian Steak house is great for dinner, La Destilleria is also popular, and Bubba Gump and Senior Frogs also has great food... The bus is my favourite way to get around, Cancun goes by zones for taxis, Zone's A - E, Buses are fast , frequent and efficient, carry lots of changed and let the driver know where you are go...
