Bullfights?

I'm almost done planning my trip!

Cancun has a bullring, Plaza de Toros, near the nothern town end of Paseo Kukulkan ( downtown)
right across the Restaurant Los Almendros. Bullfights are every Wednesday at 330pm during the touristy seasons, the best bull fighting is in Mexico City.

Every pueblo in Mexico larger than 10 people has a Plaza de Toros. 90% of the time there is just bull riding and rodeo. Still a lot of fun ... but not bull fighting

Cancun's bullring is awesome, it's a good time, not sure what Sparks means about taking it with a grain of salt, the person does mention they think Mexico city has great Bull fights, I've been to the bullring in Cancun 3 times you'll enjoy it.

bullfighting is seasonal, and not as fun as you might think. but if you want to go...aguascalientes has the second largest ring in all of mexico, and 3rd in the world...and it's VERY nice. it just so happens that the San Marcos Fair is starting the day after Easter (unofficially the friday before) and last for roughly one month. and there are many many bullfights during this time. also, the most famous matadors come to this fair....the best.

aguascalientes is centrally located in mexico, so should be somewhat easy to get to from anywhere you are going. and since it is fair time, there are many many things to do, including the ONLY legal gambling in mexico, rooster fights, obviously drinking, clubs, booths, concerts (many are free,) and of course fabulous food in addition to all the bullfights.
