What is that hotel called with the big pryamid on it in Playa del carmen? |
What is that hotel called with the big pryamid on it in Playa del carmen? There are actually 3 or 4 hotels on this property and I am not sure which one of them has the pyramid. It might be part of the common ground among the 4. The one I stayed at is the Iberostar Paraiso Beach. There is one hotel in the group of hotels that is the upgrade, and I would recommend staying there if price permitted. All of the restaurants were air conditioned and it was just nicer. The one we stayed at was really nice too though... I believe it is the Iberostar Paraiso Maya Resort if you are talking about a man made structure. It is just 10 minutes north of Playa del Carmen. Passed it just this August 2006 heding to PdC. Kind of looked a bit like Las Vegas on the beach. |
