Which hotel in Playa del Carmen has the best beach and best food? |
Lots of hotels in the area but which five star hotel has the best beach and best food? We've gone to the Iberostar Tucan all inclusive resort 3 times. It is only a 5 min. taxi ride from Play Del Carmen. It's a 5 star resort with a beautiful beach and the food is pretty good. There's a disco and live entertainment nightly. The resort employees are friendly and helpful. Also close to Xcaret, Xel Ha and 20 mins.from Puerto Adventuras which has dolphins, sealions, seacows (Manaties), stingrays, food & drinks. Free to get in. You can do programs with the animals for a fee. The area is beautiful! Search Iberostar Tucan Resort to see photos. Enjoy your trip wherever you decide to stay. i was there last week, Playa del carmen is a huge construction zone at the moment.not kidding!! hated it! do not stay at the hotel deseo. the restaurant is out of business, the rooms are matchbox size. this is billed as 5 star design boutique hotel . very dissapointing. as is habita....at least you know where NOT to go. go down the rosd 15 min to puerto adventuras or akumal much nicer better rates and still close enouhg to see everything |

Just enough to learn Spanish and experience life in another country. After that I think I'd need to get back to a career that would look after my future ... |
