What is a good hotel to visit in Playa del Carmen that is all inclusive?

What is a good hotel to visit in Playa del Carmen that is all inclusive?

There are two things you need to consider: where you want to be and how much you want to spend. Most of the all inclusives are located in Playacar, just south of Playa del Carmen. To go anywhere (like 5th ave, you have to pay for taxi. The exception in Porto Real, which is located IN Playa del Carmen. Price becomes a big point. I understand that Occidental's Royal Hideaway is the BEST all-inclusive luxury property, but it is also one of the most expensive.

I would recommend a visit to Tripadvisor.com for other traveler's recommendations. That's what I do.

I think there is this place called Azul

We went to Gran Porto Real and it was very nice, we had a blast! Shopping is within walking distance and it is right on the ocean. Have fun!

Riu Tequila...it is brand new, you麓re gonna love it! Don麓t miss the 5a Avenida (5th Ave.) good trip!

Definitely Riu Tequila - went there last Feb & it was perfect!!

Just returned from the RIU Palace Riviera Maya...and it was FABULOUS! It was our third trip to the area. We had stayed at the RIU Palace Mexico on our previous two trips. They are both all inclusive, great food and drinks, with both buffet restaurant options and full service restaurants. The Palace Mexico had a better beach area, but the Palace Riviera Maya had a better pool, as well as room service and a spa tub. Not sure if the Palace Mexico has room service now...they didn't when we went in 2004. Have a great trip!

All great answers. But I was wondering if you were going by yourself or are you going with a sig. other. If it's the latter, go to Dreams...all rooms have a jacuzzi tub at the minimum. It's a relatively new hotel. It's spacious, has great restaurants, the drinks, the huge pool, the weather, the beach all cannot be beat. Oh yeah the service, the champagne, the cool towel to greet you are not matched anywhere else. Have fun. It's a great problem to have---wondering where to stay in such a beautiful place.

Something Tequila. Was a great place to stay!!
