Does anybody know what sort of weather I can expect in Playa Del Camen (near Cancun in Mexico) next week?

I have been on many weather forecast websites and the forecast has been thunders and showers for about a month, yet every time I check the current weather it's usually sunny and a bit cloudy. If you know the area quite well, thanks for responding!

The weather will be lovely. I was there this time last year and it was bright and sunny and hot, a bit overcast a couple of days but otherwise gorgeous. Most days there is usually a downpour of rain with a bit of thunder maybe around 4pm -ish but this lasts no more than half an hour. Have a wonderful time!

PS Oh yeh and it's hurricane season but there's always plently of notice before one comes (which is highly unlikely) and they'll put you up in Jamaica or somewhere.

You can not expect to have any particular weather - it will be what ever it will be - now stop worrying and get on with your life.

This time of year you will usually find it like this.

Morning - hot and sunny

Afternoon - Clouding over but still hot

Evening - Showers, still hot

Night - Clear and hot

Its tropical there and its rainy season so you pretty much should expect rain (sometimes very heavy) most days, but only for short periods.

Oh BTW - sorry to tell you but its also hurricane season....just thought you should know

Hot weather, sun by morning and shower rain on evening and maybe night time

i went there in september three years ago.its tropical storm time. but its so hot it does'nt matter. The winds are scary but exciting

warm and a nice breeze

Dont worry, even during winter the weather is great in the Yucatan Peninsula. Maybe a little less humid but its nice. Just bring a sweater with you cause at night you might feel it cold. Enjoy the 5th Ave and if you can go to Cozumel and the night show at Xcaret you cannot miss it. Its amazing!
