Does anyone know a reputable company providing swimming with whale sharks in Mexico?

Whale sharks are rare, elusive and magnificent creatures. Only four places on the whole planet have predictable appearances by whale sharksat certain times of year. The Sea of Cortez close to Bahia de Los Angeles, Baja California, Mexico is closest to the US and one of the greatest places to encounter whale sharks.

Reputable company in Mexico? Ha ha ha ha ha.

I swam with sharks twice and I dont remember seen any recognized company offering that activity. Dolphins are more popular and expensive. If you go to Isla Mujeres, you will find some areas in the ocean where they have sharks, you can jump in and all you pay is a tip to the guy there. If you ever visit Xcaret they do have an area where you can swim with manatees for free. Just in case you like to be in contact with different species.
