Best beach bar for beach fun in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico?

I havent been to PdC for 3 years but there was a huge Carlos and Charlies bar on the water near the ferry that didnt get going until 9 and went till 4, very crowd, loud music and a very young crowd if thats what you are into.
My favorite was a "Cheers" style Mecican Blues bar at the North end of 5th ave, the main drag. They had a great house band and would bring guest form the US often. Its open from 6am to 4pm.
Its pretty funny, as I said it fronts the main street but the front is entirely open, i.e there are no doors or walls so you can relax, listen to the music and they have great breakfsasts and food in general. Between 4am-6am they have two of the biggest Mexican I ever seen jsut daring someone to walk in. But it not on the beach
You should try the Blue Parrot durring the day, its the best bar on the beach, and get a t shirt.
There's a beautiful beach about a 1 mile north of town and its topless if you are into it and has a couple of bars there.
There are a number of good bars in Cozumel across the chanell by ferry, but dont think that the ferries run very late at night so would be a good day trip, There is a great sports bar there, so if you are a sports junkie and need to see a game go there. Also if you havent done it before its fun to rent a moped and drive around Cozumel stop at secluded beaches(only go to beaches on the West Coast, the East coast is particularly dangerous. Theres a great Regae Bar on the SE coner next to the light house and some small but interesting Mayan ruins on the North end.

I just got back saturday from cancun mexico i went last year as well and the best thing about mexico is the swim up bars at the hotels bars in the pool and on the beach if you get all inclusive like we did it doesn't matter where the bars are everything is FREE HOPE THIS HELPS LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT MORE INFO!

5th Avenue - Blue Parrot is 2 bars right on the beach or the Mambo Cafe which isn't on the beach but it is the best bar!
