What is the prettiest and cheapest beach resort in Mexico?

I want to go to the beach in Mexico somewhere nice but not to traditional. When I say traditional I mean tourist. Most importantly inexpensive.

If going to Tenacatita cheaper to fly into Vallarta and bus down. Very little in Tenacatita except the beach

I prefer Cancun..... thats my favorite place.....

I suggest you Tenacatita, Barra de Navidad, they are located in the west coast of Jalisco state (costa alegre) and you have to arrive to Manzanillo Airport. But I think that the cheapest air ticket is by travelling to Canc煤n, from there I recommendo you Holbox Island, it's an incredible beach. I would have to say Barra de Potosi, Playa Larga and La Ropa in Zihua. Playa Larga is quiet and has such a beautiful coast line.

near tulum, awesome spot. Very Zen like. there are many small hotels along the beach, mostly grass hut kind of places. Very cool and inviting. Just take a plane to Cancun then the bus to tulum and start walking around and ask for cheap spots. Every one is very friendly and the atmosphere is great.
