Does anyone know if they sell Newport brand cigarettes in playa del carmen Mexico?

If they do you probably wouldn't want to smoke them anyway. My experience they tasted really old in Mexico.

no, newports are not sold anyplace in mexico, not even in the duty-free stores at the airports. You'll have to bring your own or smoke marlboro menthols.

I can't say one wayor another if I saw Newports but if I remember correctly you can import 200 cigarettes without paying any duty.
