Why does 1 person find so many Mid-westerners living in Arizona?

It just can't because of the year round sunny climate either

temperate weather year round, dryer climate (good for asthma sufferers), good location (read: middle of lots of attractions), low(er) cost of living, tons of jobs, lots of activities.

And not everyone moving here is from the midwest. Many are from California, Texas, and New England as well!

I'm midwesterner and I don't live in Arizona. though I see other state plates driving around.

Have you ever to the mid west? It is called snow. Like the 4 inches we got overnight. Are most of them retirees? They winter there.

Arizona is the new Florida.

The weather is the biggest thing. You can't shovel sunshine and who wants to shovel snow all the time?

These folks hit the nail on the head....my husband just got a job in Phoenix and we are moving from Michigan! The snow and cold are awful. Plus the econmy in the mid-west is horrible.
