Arizona places there?

Is it a great place to live?

Peroria, Phoenix.

It is like any other place in the world. You have bad areas and good areas. Just do your research to find the good areas.

Depends on what your idea of "great" is.
Many people can't take the heat, but both Tucson and Phoenix have the unique distinction of being immune from almost every natural disaster (no earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes or blizzards).
Could stand to be more diverse and most places are having growth issues right now. But people are pretty friendly and you can still get reasonably-cheap housing.

Can you be specific to where in AZ?

You won't be alone here in the Phoenix area. There are a lot of people from the NW. Peoria is a great place to live. I use to live in the South West Valley, and it's a different world here. The people are so nice, and my neighbors are the best. You have every shop and restaurant you can think of along the Arrowhead area in Glendale, AZ. The Peoria Sports Complex hosts spring training which is coming up soon. The West Gate City Center in Glendale where the Super Bowl took place, is right down the way. The 101 freeway runs through Peoria and Glendale, so it's easy to hop on the freeway in any direction. The town of Surprise is really growing, and you can still get really good deals on homes there. Lake Pleasant is only minutes away to. The weather is perfect right now, but get ready for some real HOT summers. There's some humidity during July and August because of the Monsoon storms. It's the storms that bring in the humidity, so it's not humid everyday during those months. San Diego, L.A. and Las Vegas are 4-5 hours away by car, and only an hour by plane. If you need a weekend break from the heat you can drive 1 1/2 hours to Prescott to cool off, or drive farther where it's even cooler to Flagstaff or Sedona. I threw in some links to help you out. Arizona is not all desert either. There's the Northern Cool Country that has lakes, creeks and pine trees to.

Arizona , is a great place to live is very hot, and cold some time, is a cow-boy state, good southrent food and pretty country views. no bad severe weather conditions, lot;s of farm land, and land marks It depend on what!! you are looking for, if you love sports then you may try beantown , if you are a little rough aroun the edges ,and intellectual Boston is for you, if you are a big city personality love warm climate and looking for the world ,most regarded university, then Phoenix is for you. reaseable houses, large economical growth. decent people, and lo'ts of amusement parks and recreation, centers. Phoenix is the capital of Arizona a population of 5,743,834, state nick-name grand-canyon, state motto; Deus (God Enriches), state song, Arizona. Arizona is a desert state very hot.

its okay. lots of jobs, somewhat cheap homes, affordable, recreation, entertainment ands school are acceptable. if your comming here. keep away from south phoenix, central phoenix, maryvale- south glendale, and downtown mesa.

Try Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe they are my favortires. but Surprise and N. Peroia is okay. Laveen try to keeep away but its acceptable..
