Arizona Colleges and Life?

I'm a senior in high school, i'm going to graduate this june and i'm thinking of moving to Arizona from a small town in upstate new york (80 people in my graduating class). I want some opinions on good colleges and where would be best for me to move to taking into consideration my age and what not. I heard Flagstaff is a college town, opinions on that? Thanks.

hey hey. i live in az and actually just got back here from traveling the US and had missed it terribly. ive lived in phoenix, tempe (asu town), and all these other places. az is amazing especially phoenix because its the FOURTH LARGEST CITY in the US. there is ALWAYS something fun to do. tempe, where asu is, is a riot! especially mill avenue. flagstaff is gorgeous and fun in the winter and i have a bunch of friends that go to NAU (Northern Arizona State) and love it. personally im more of a big city kinda girl, but flagstaff is more if youre looking for a smaller town. U of A is in tucson which I had some friends that liked it, but not a lot did. ASU has FOUR locations: ASU WEST (glendale (superbowl 2008)/peoria area), ASU EAST (mesa), ASU MAIN (tempe), ASU DOWNTOWN PHX (phoenix). ASU WEST is probably the most chill and glendale/peoria is a suburb area (i love it). message me if you have anymore questions. I think you would like ASU MAIN probably, but depending on your major, going to NAU or UofA might benefit your major more it all depends. Like i said message me if you have any questions :)

PS ~ There are also some really good community colleges if youre looking for something cheaper, like glendale community college :)

well theres U of Arizona and Arizona State University. i believe one of those is near Phoenix. just look into those colleges and find towns near them i think Tempe is close and Scottsdale.

edit: arizona is a pretty state to live in. but remember that it gets extremely hot in the summer. one time a few summers ago i was there and it got to 113 F. it was crazyy!

Arizona has two of the greatest public universities of the United States: the University of Arizona in Tucson, and the Arizona State University in Tempe, that's near Phoenix, and besides Arizona is in one of fastest growing regions of the United States: Southwest.
