What is the average amount of money, one need's to make to live in Scottsdate, AZ?

This question is in order to live a "middle class" life-style, based on the current cost of living in Scottsdale, AZ.

You just need to shop around for an apartment. There are some one bedrooms on 92ndst and Shear for 750 a month. And that's a nice area! So you could even get by with $2500.00. For rental places, try Realtors!!! They can even be cheaper than looking on your own. A lot of people want to rent out there places and will rent for less than average cost of apartments so that they can get your rental!

About 3,500 per month or so.

For living in an apartment, it doesn't have to be much more than regular Phoenix standards ($1500-2000) for a single person. There's an area that some people call the "Scottsdale Ghetto" on the south side of town near Tempe. It's not actually ghetto in any way, it's just much, much less expensive and not as nice as the rest of the city.

You could get by on 2,700 a month in some areas.
