In phoenix unpaid speeding ticket?

i got a ticket from the photo radar but didnt recieve the ticket but was searching a court case from another county and seen my name under scottsdale court and it was traffic and said failure to appear.I remember getting a picture taken by the photo radar and expected something in mail nut when i never got anything i figured i wasnt getting a aticket or maybe it was nother car that got cited by the photo radar because i was on freeway and there were othr cars but like i said there was a failure to appear with my name and birthdate and the date i was driving and got my picture taken BUT NEVER RECIEVED ANY TICKET! would i have a warrant? im going to call the court tommorow and find out whats going on.

Please watch the news. A lot has been happening with these because postal carriers ARE NOT PROCESS SERVERS!!! They can not deliver a ticket to you even if it DID come. Here is what would happen, if you didn't respond, they would send out a process server to serve you. If they can't find you either, then the case gets dropped. A lot of these types of tickets are getting dropped for the reason I mentioned above. Please do research and see where this matter stands currently.

I have alot of cops for the city of phoenix for friends and they have always told me that 50% of the photo radar tickets never get paid and are never followed through. They have also said the best way to fight a photo radar ticket is not to go to court to fight it and to lay low for about 3 months meaning drive right and if you see a cop behind you on the road get out of his way so he won't run your plates.

The best way to see if you have the ticket on your record is to go to the DMV and pay $5 for a 5 year record and see if it is on there. Just because the computer says FTA or failure to appear doesn't mean anything. We are in the big city and many people have the same name or DOB. Like I said go to the DMV and get a five year driving history to see.

You're getting "crappy" advice. Clearly if a court has entered a failure to appear determination in this matter it will eventually go to warrant. Unless you want the embarrassment of being stopped and arrested at a very inconvenient moment, I would certainty contact the court and get this cleared up. You may have to appear before a judge to have the failure to appear nullified, the court clerks don't have the authority to do that on their own. Good luck to you.
