Best neighborhoods/subdivisions in the Peoria/Glendale/Phoenix? Thank you so much for your help!!?

My husband and I are moving from the east coast and would greatly appreciate any help. We are looking for a family oriented safe community with good schools to raise our little ones. Thank you!!!

Johnson Ranch.

if you don't get the answer you seek here try craigslist in phoenix area-use the general community category, ask the locals there-

I grew up in Peoria. My father still lives in the same house we moved into when I was 2 years old. The neighborhood located between Peoria Ave and Olive Ave, 91st Ave and 89th Ave. The elementary school is called Alta Loma, my sister, my brother, me and even my stepbrother have all graduated from there and it's in the neighborhood. It's an old neighborhood but the houses are huge with huge backyards and the best part, there are no home owner's associations. There is really no crime in that neighborhood. My husband and I hope to buy a house there in the next year.

gilbert or queen creek or anthem

Peoria and Glendale are really nice areas to live in. If you choose Glendale, try the northern part of the city. The southern part is a little sketchy. Some newer and really nice areas are Vistancia and Fletcher Heights or the Arrowhead Lakes area that is a little older and established. The neighborhood I live in is right at the border of Glendale and Peoria. My neighbor's are the best. We can tell each other when we're going out of town and we'll take turns watching each others homes. The kids actually smile and say hi every time you see them. I do see school buses throughout the city picking kids up for school. My wife can take a late night walk and not have to worry about anything.

Central Phoenix- If you can afford it then the Arcadia and Biltmore neighborhoods are beautiful_ you will pay the price as they are in central Phoenix, AZ and very desirable areas. Madison school District

Paradise valley- affluent enclave of Phoenix

Glendale- Arrowhead area- Affordable to upscale to affluent.- depedning what you can afford. This area is mostly track homes. I think its boring, but its very family orieted, suburban type of area. Stick to to the area closer to Arrowhead Mall as some older parts are sketchy.

Also try Chandler or Gilbert if you want that type of env.
