What are some fun stuff an 18 yr old can do in the phoenix area during mid february? |
i'm visiting my aunt and uncle that live in chandler. i'm from maine. [i'll be moving in with them when i graduate in june] what are some fun stuff i can do in the middle of february. im going down during february vacation february 15th-february 25th. I like normal teen young adult stuff such as shopping music fun entertaining stuff for teens and young adults. i also like to know some beautiful scenic spots cause i liek photography and would like to take some beautiful scenary pictures. =D There's a house on the mountain that this man made from things he had collected for years-it is so cool. It's right in Phoenix and you can find the info in a travel guide there - we really liked it. There is an ostrich farm between Phoenix and Tucson called Rooster Cogburn's in Pichacho that give a really nice monster truck tour and has some really sweet birds-lorikeets, I think, you feed as well as the ostrich feeding and "ostrich fishing". It was a lot of fun. We went to Tucson in Jan and our cousins took us to the Ostrich Farm and Casa Grande ruins-which are probably an hour South of Phoenix. When I went to Phoenix, I really enjoyed the grand hotels and toured several of them. Frank Lloyd Wright built a house there, but I heard it was not as interesting as some of his other designs and is very expensive. phoenix should have nice weather year-round, so maybe go online to try to find some national or state parks where you can go take pictures...have fun You have asked this same question 15 times or so over the last three months. Please check my answers for one of those. well the desert has some really nice places to take picture, go to camelback mountain and hike (or some other mountain) that has really pretty scenes that you cant get in Maine ( Maine is still really pretty just in a different way of coarse.) Also even if you dont like the PHX suns they still are a great team with awesome players and EVEN if dont know anything about basketball the atmosphere is great the fans here are intensively in voled and its a lot of fun to go to one. |

I went to Kofa High School there. Its quickly growing with plenty of restaurants popping up. Its really not much hotter than Phoenix. In fact Phoenix may be hotter due to all the blacktop and roads... I have lived in Phoenix area for 18 years and am raising 3 kids in the valley. I love the area and will never move. The school systems are okay for the most part. I love because like another person... He is a funny comedian that is worth the price of the ticket. ...For small planes Glendale Municipal airport. For the big ones Sky Harbor. For the military Luke Air force base. ...Streets are on the East side of Central and Avenues are on the West side of Central. Even numbers are going to be on the North and West side of the street Odd numbers are going to be on the Sout... its Sedona. Sedona is in the middle of Red Dirt Mesas (eroded mountains) its in the 3000 ft elevation so there are forests and streams. Sedona is considered a Vortex, a place were strange supernatu... Tube the river, go to one of our four water parks. Sit inside in the A/C, Go swimming. ...Yardhouse has something like 170 different beers on tap. This is a MUST if you are a beer lover. Their slogan is "World's Largest Selection of Draft Beer" and I know that you can ord... |
