How is traffic in the morning and evening on I10 (phoenix)?

wondering about the commute from central phoenix on the 10 headed west (towards litchfield park). How long?

anyone?

Not bad the traffic is going east at that time of day.

Umm, absolutely terrible.

Yuck the traffic almost anywhere in Phoenix is TERRIBLE...what can we expect for being the 5th largest city in the U.S.

Heading West it will be just as bad as any other direction during rush hour, car pooling will help you get into those HUV lanes and cruise a little faster.

make sure you give yourself at least an hour extra to get to where you need to go.

BAD! the worst areas are through the tunnel in central Phoenix and then again at Avondale right before Litchfield because the freeway goes down to 2 lanes.

Pure evil. Sent straight up from the devil himself.

It used to take me about an hour to get from 91st Ave to Scottsdale Rd taking the I-10 east to the 202. During regular time it takes 25 minutes. Take your normal driving time for the same route and double it and then add some more time.

Its insane! I have waited in traffic for 30 mins before in the evening !
