Looking for a good bar in the mesa az area?

im doing out tonight for a night cap, i am looking for a bar in mesa or tempe or apache junction that isnt a hole in the wall shithole bar.. but a nice bar that is safe with a good crowd..
let me know if anyone has ideas.. ! :)

Sluggo's on Sossamen and Baseline is a great little sports bar. It is on the north east corner by the Circle K. I like how one other person answers but I have 3 thumbs down for an honest answer.

the monastery on greenfield and falcon drive is very nice, everyone is friendly its clean and a great atmosphere.
