Is East Fairmount Ave. in Arizona ghetto? Anyone know anything about that area?

You have to be more specific about where on Fairmount you are looking. Anything near downtown will not be the safest of areas, but there are some beautiful historic homes down there that are perfectly fine. If you are talking further out East, the better it will get, I believe.

It depends on how far East or Central you go. If you go as far East as 32nd Street (3200 East Fairmont) it gets better. It's just South of Indian School Rd. which is a really busy street, so be prepared to fight traffic. I wouldn't recommend anything from Central Ave. to 32nd Street, but you're better off going as far as 40th. Street.
