What are some cool things to check out in Phoenix/Scottsdale area? What's a good place to eat at?

To see cool stuff and experience something fun, go down to Tempe, and check out some of the neat places to eat on Mill Avenue. There's a couple cool Irish bars/restaurants and there's Slices....the best pizza EVER.

There are lots of restaurants in Scottsdale. My favorite is a place called White Chocolate. Sounds like a weird name, but the food there is really good. The salmon is excellent!

I recommend the pink pony in Scottsdale. It turned out to be the most reasonable place we had dinner at and quite good. We got the roast beef dinner and they have a show. I was in a crowded elevator in Florida with a friend who was going there and recommended the place and don't you know, the other people in the elevator had all eaten there and liked it.
I go to Scottsdale once a year on business. Coming from the northeast originally I don't find it exciting, but you can buy some very nice turquoise jewelry. We drove north to the end of the main road and looked at the cactus there. They have a lot of spas at the hotels.

We paid a visit to Scottsdale last November. We were taken for breakfast to a place called The Good Egg. Great apple pancakes. Located on the west side of Scottsdale road.

Rawhide is a great place to visit and eat. It is an old west style setting.

Way to many places to list for good eats and fun things to do but i would recommened takeing the ride out Apache trail (Rte 88) and go to Tortilla Flat. It aint nothin fancy just a lot of fun, but go early in the day there not open after sunset and they are usally very crowded

If you want some good authentic Mexican food, check out Carolina's in Phoenix just south of down town or North Phoenix. The central location is their original location.
