Does megabus service phoenix? |
does megabus service phoenix from Los Angeles Good choice to avoid Greyhound since they are truly the pits! Sadly Megabus stopped serving Phoenix on January 7th due to low ridership. This has been a problem with Megabus since they refuse to accept cash fares for their service. Somehow they got the notion that people who ride buses carry around laptops, plan weeks in advance to ride and pay with credit cards. The reality is most bus passengers prefer to use cash, travel last minute and don't always have computer access. There are alternate carriers for bus service between Phoenix and LA however; try the El Paso/Los Angeles Limo line which is a major bus service along that corridor and has several daily departures for a cost of $40 each way. Basic info can be found at www.eplalimo.com Lastly, try www.gotobus.com which has a single daily departure between LA and Phoenix. Good Luck! The only one I know of is Greyhound. Try a one way flight to LA you can get one for around 49 to 69 bucks. Do two one way tickets it would be cheaper than a bus and you would get there faster. |
