Going on a trip to Phoenix.... need fun things to do during the day for a young couple. Willing to drive 2-3 hours.... Please provide feedback if you've been there and links to the websites. Thanks!!! Rawhide: Been ther great old west style eating and fun. Hike South Mountain: Done it great views of the city. Thombstone: Did it. Old west town in the Southern part of Arizona. The Phoenix zoo is great that time of year all the animals are out and about. Desert Botanical Gardens, Sedona and the red rocks (romantic at dusk), dinner at "Different Pointe of View" on top of North Mountain (great views of the city), picnic in the park (either Encanto or Thunderbird). Also I believe the Chocolate Affair is happening in Glendale, but check the dates on that because they are moving it from its usual time every year to more near Super Bowl time. |
