Need advice -help please?

My wife went to the Philippines to visit her family in Dec. She keeps changing her return flight to a later date . I want her to come home already I miss her. I know that she is visited family and she has not seen them for over a year . Any one know how to get a home sick Filipina to come back to her family in the US?

I would go and get her but she keeps moving around to fast , Manila and next time I talk to her she is on her way to Sorsogon( grow up) and 2 weeks later she is in Cebu ans when I talk to her last night she was on her way to Bohol. Like I said very big family

I'm not sure if you're filipino but visiting the Philippines can be quite distracting and if she's from a typical Filipino family, it's taking time for her to see everyone. I visited the Philippines last summer and I spent a month there. I literally did not have time to see everyone. The Philippines has changed so much and I'm sure your wife is trying to take everything in. If you can, you may want to follow her and make a vacation out of it so you both can leave together. It's hard to let go sometimes. I did not want to come back here after being there (even though my family is here). So, unless you want to surprise your wife there, I suggest you give her some more time and let her spend some time with her family.

Update: It's also quite chaotic in the Philippines right now with all the things going on with the President. Her family maybe advising her to go when things have cooled down a bit. In any case, I'm sure she will come back. After all, life is very hard in the Philippines and deep down, she knows she's better off in the States than in the Philippines.

Huh Huh Huh you loving spouse, I do really feel for you. Yet, I would request you as a senior about this matter, JUST HAVE patience! You don't feel, she's also feeling then same for you, dear. Allow this type of persons to be with the close ones, whom they miss for a year or more.

Just my thoughts but you may try to come over here and fetch her yourself "unannounced" ... most Filipinas I know are a sucker for that type of thing. It would show that you really miss her and her family in the Philippines would appreciate your efforts. (they can't call you a stalker since you are already married)

here are some of my advice.stop sending her money to the philippines.if you have a joint credit card then cancel it.send a text massage that you are sick and need a medical attentions asap but need you back for support.or just tell her you are sick of her for being not a good wife and you want divorce.its your fault for letting her go without you.maybe she met the old boyfriend or have met a guy.now she having fun with you knowing it.

Just give her a return date that you think is fair. Tell her you miss her terribly and that its hurting you that she is not there with you. That or say your not going to pay for her flight back.

Although I can add that homesickness is really hard to fight. I have one too & some days I tell myself that I will book the next flight home but I know that I might end up like your wife & would not like to go back to the US of A & besides it costs a lot of money to go home.

And that is where lies your ally, give your wife a budget to work with & stop funding her trip. Sooner or later with no more funds, she might eventually go back to you, unless you come pick her up personally.
