How would you feel?

If you tell a joke on your co-worker and he would not even laugh.

He did not get it, tell the story again.

I would think that he is boring and/or rude.

Or that my joke really sucked.

I would feel a little stupid, actually. That's happened to me, though. I've tried to tell a joke and nobody laughed. It was like hearing crickets in the background. LOL.

He didn't think it was funny. You may have hurt his feelings. I would feel bad and wished I hadn't told the joke.

I would feel a little goofy but I would just laugh after I said the joke and say I thought it was funny, Then get over it. He probably was having a bad day

Depends on the coworker. If they never smile at anything, then I would have expected the response and it wouldn't have bothered me. But if they laugh at anything, then I would wonder if the joke was even funny. If it's someone I don't know very well, I would probably be embarrassed and confused.

I would feel bad and like I needed to apologize. Obviously, he did not find it very funny.

Nothing, I'd leave and let the joke sink in for awhile. Then I'd check back later and ask if he'd like me to tell the joke for the fifth time.

I'd be embarassed. But if others laughed at the joke, i would think he had no sense of humour.
