Amazon Rainforest?

Is there an airport in the Amazon Rainforest?

Actually, there are a few. One I know is Iquitos Peru. Iquitos is at the head of the amazon river and is a jumping off point for jungle and river tours. There is also one in Leticia Colombia.

Iquitos is a nice place. Cost about $100 flight from Lima. I like it so much I bought a house there.

Hi Angel,
You've got several airports to choose from.
Certainly Iquitos (Peru) is one of them. Leticia (Colombia) as well. You could also try Eduardo Gomes Int, Airport in Manaus (Brazil).

Yes there are, for example, Iquitos can't be reached be land, only water or air

There are some airports in the Amazon Rainforest. I went to one in Manu, but the "airport" was just a grassy landing strip and a hut so you can wait for your flight. If you are going to the Amazon, I'd suggest Manu Wildlife Center. You'll be able to see more wildlife than other places, and the lodging is very nice.
